Fairy tale Weekend

With the World Cup

Saturday after finishing my morning run, i went to drink coffee at my favorite coffee shop till that time i have not given any importance to the Women's Football World Cup 2011.After buying the coffee i started reading the newspaper about the Japan's entry into the world cup final.Wow!! immediately i read the whole story about them , came  home and started checking in the internet for more information.

After the shoot out
While searching the information in net somewhere in my mind i thought this will be Japan's world cup.I told my wife that its good for not only Japan but for the whole world if Japan wins the Cup.Japan the land of catastrophes and the "Land of Rising Sun" . Every time they fell the rose . Japanese have the tenacity overcome everything.

Gratitude...
This football squad had an average height of 1.62m but the americans 1.69m still the Japanese beat them. Its not the winning but they way the fought till the end.The second equalizer came at the dying minutes. They were down by one goal for most part of the game but as their skipper told " run ,run and we run" they won it.

Many experts lauded this team for their "beautiful game" some even told that these Japanese are better than "Barca".. what a complement to a team which lost all their previous 23 meeting with the americans and never entered into a final before.Great team work and never say die attitude made this wonderful achievement possible.

Congratulation to Team Japan.Keep flying..
Darren Clarke-2011 British Open Champion

The next fairy tale was of Darren Clarke ,the 42 year old Irish who won the British Open.No one predicted his victory. After losing wife he thought of giving up golf altogether but he approached not one but 2 two psychologist before this tournament.
He never won a major before,i was wondering how this guy won this championship then.I got the answer from his manager's interview to some paper -" He drives himself very hard".That one sentence shows that this guy is worthy winner.Congratulation and good luck to this wonderful sportsman.
