The Committee to Protect Journalists(CPJ), a non profit organization based in New York , conducted a research and listed the top 10 censored countries based on the censorship on media.Here is the list

These rulers and their officials uses tactics like refusing visa,travel bans,raids on independent newsroom,prepublishing censorship requirements,restricted photography or filming,jamming satellite signals,website hacking and blocking of websites to prevent the media from publishing anything against them.
The runners list includes China,Turmenistan,Ethiopia,Vietnam,Sudan and Azerbaijan.
