I started the year with this book.Great book to start. Its biography of Steve Irwin of Crocodile Hunter fame by his wife Terri Irwin. My family used to watch his program almost daily in Animal planet and Discovery channel.I love him so much,i liked the way he handles the wild animals specially snakes. He made me to love even the most horrible looking creatures. Thanks to him.
Terri shares their life in this book. The way they got married, she is from US and he from Australian outback. Both have a common interest wild life. She was doing his research and helping Cougars and he was working in his family zoo. This book is something i will treasure for a long time , i liked everything about them.Apart from
their crocodile and other desert and outback exploits Terri shares how they were in boy child diet this is interesting i have never heard anything like that before.
Steve's passion for wild life was/is contagious , he died as a wild life warrior.
Whenever i see something related to zoo or animals i'm thinking Steve only. Now Irwin
family still runs the Australian Zoo but without its charismatic Steve.Their life was very simple - unconditional love for each other and for wild life.
Hats off to them.
